Economy in the US seems to be going ever so slightly in a downward spiral. I remember when a British Pound would get you 1.4 dollars, 1.6 on a good day!! Just done a currency check on XE.com and as it stands - 1 British Pound will get you 2.07 American Dollars. Soon as I get back from Amsterdam...thats the next place on my list...no doubt! I don't think I've ever seen the GBP double the dollar before.
